Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) supplements the Software End User License Agreement (“EULA”) and applies to Customer’s, including each of its Permitted User’s, (collectively, “you” or “your”) access to and use of the Community Solution. Capitalized terms used in this Policy that are not otherwise defined herein have the meanings set forth in the EULA.

This Policy does not create any right or private right of action on the part of any third party or any reasonable expectation that the Community Solution will not contain or transmit any Customer Content or Communication that is prohibited by this Policy. The conduct prohibited in this Policy is not exhaustive.

This Policy may be updated by GreatNonprofits d/b/a CommunityConnect Labs (“Community”) from time to time upon reasonable notice, which may be provided via email or by posting an updated version of this Policy on our website and updating the date at the top of this Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

You will not, through the use of or in connection with the Community Solution:

  1. Engage in any conduct for an illegal or unauthorized purpose, or engage in, encourage, or promote any activity that violates applicable laws, the EULA, or this Policy or that is threatening, fraudulent, or harmful to us or any other person or entity in any way.
  2. As required by applicable laws, including without limitation Communications Laws and Industry Guidelines, transmit any Communication without, (i) first providing adequate notice and obtaining the appropriate consent from each recipient, and (ii) offering each recipient the ability to revoke any consent to receive, or to opt out of receiving, future Communications from you.
  3. Create, post, distribute, or transmit Customer Content or any Communication that:
    1. Violate Communications Laws or Industry Guidelines.
    2. Contain content that, in Community’s sole discretion, constitutes, endorses, promotes, or otherwise relates to sex or adult content, hate/hate speech or profanity, alcohol or alcohol-related products, firearms or weapons of any kind, tobacco or tobacco-related products, depictions of violence, gambling or contests/games of chance of any kind, counterfeit products or services, illegal or illicit drugs or any controlled substances, spam, unsolicited or bulk commercial electronic communications, chain letters, pyramid schemes or multilevel marketing, or otherwise illegal or unlawful products or services of any kind.
    3. Are designed to trick, deceive, or mislead others or to impersonate any person or entity or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
    4. Contain content that, in Community’s sole discretion, constitutes, endorses, promotes, or otherwise relates to marketing or advertising of any kind, including without limitation any candidate-specific campaign promotions, without first obtaining our written approval.
    5. Contain content that, in Community’s sole discretion, constitutes, endorses, promotes, or otherwise relates to political ideas, concepts, opinions, or content of any kind, except as expressly permitted by the EULA.
    6. Community, in its sole discretion, considers unfair, deceptive, or predatory towards another person or entity.
  4. Violate the rights of others, including others’ copyrights, rights of publicity, or other intellectual property rights.
  5. Discriminate against people based on their race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, age, sex, gender, sexual orientation or preference, or physical ability.
  6. Engage in any harassing, threatening, intimidating, predatory, or stalking conduct.
  7. Transmit code, files, scripts, agents, or programs intended to do harm, including viruses or malware, or using automated means, such as bots, to gain access to or use of the Community Solution.
  8. Reverse engineer any aspect of the Community Solution or do anything that might discover or reveal source code, or bypass or circumvent (i) measures employed to prevent or limit access to or use of any part of the Community Solution, or (ii) restrictions aimed at deterring or preventing uses of the Community Solution that violate this Policy;
  9. Develop or use any applications or software that interact with the Community Solution without our prior, written authorization.
  10. Research or develop products, models, or services that compete with Community.
  11. Sell or resell the Community Solution.
  12. Modify the Community Solution, remove any proprietary rights notices or markings associated with the Community Solution, or otherwise make any derivative works based upon the Community Solution.
  13. Use or access or attempt to use or access another customer’s or Permitted User’s account or information without authorization from that customer or Permitted User and Community.
  14. Use the Community Solution in any manner that could interfere with, disrupt, negatively affect, or inhibit others from fully enjoying the Community Solution or that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the functioning of the Community Solution in any manner.
  15. Use the Community Solution if you are not eligible to use the Community Solution in accordance with the EULA.
  16. Use the Community Solution other than for its intended purpose.
